How to Update Software Using Samsung Printer Diagnostics for Windows?
This document introduces the flow of steps when selecting the Install software option on the Samsung Printer Diagnostics application main screen.
- Update the printer software by using the Install your software option on the main Samsung Printer Diagnostics screen. The application will check for software updates and install the latest version.
- Look at the screen lists the Samsung printer drivers that are installed on the Computer. The Samsung Printer Diagnostics application searches for available software updates for the Samsung printer you select. Choose the printer to update. (Note: If the printer you want is not connected, you can click the printer that I want isn't listed. Add a printer).
- Select the software to install. The Samsung Printer Diagnostics application lists the available software you can install. Samsung Printer Diagnostics checks for the latest software or driver by using the "Live update registry key".
- If Samsung Printer Diagnostics cannot connect to the web server, it displays a warning message box. When you click the OK button on the message box, Samsung Printer Diagnostics goes back to the main screen.
- If there are no updates, Samsung Printer Diagnostics displays a message box. When you click the OK button on the message box, Samsung Printer Diagnostics goes back to the main screen.
- Select the software to install, then download and install the software. (The Samsung Printer Diagnostics application displays the software to download and the progress.)
- When the Samsung Printer Diagnostics application finishes downloading the latest software for your printer, a Setup Complete screen will be displayed. It means the printer software updates are complete.

Windows 11/ Windows 10/ Server 2016:
- Type "Samsung Printers" in the taskbar search input area and press Enter.
- Select Samsung Printer Center.
Windows 8.1/ Windows 8:
- From the Charms, select Search, then Apps, and find Samsung Printers.
- Select Samsung Printer Center.
Windows 7/ Windows Vista:
- Click the Start button.
- Navigate to Programs or All Programs.
- Find Samsung Printers and select Samsung Printer Diagnostics.
